Candi Joneth (she/hers) is a writer – living, researching and writing from the cold coast of Maine. She is a master’s candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at Harvard’s Extension School, and holds a B.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture, as well as a Philosophy (analytical) minor from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

She has published over 200 news articles, 75 features, with concentrations in the arts and sciences. She placed third in the Maine Press Association’s 2025 Critic’s Award for her news coverage of Maine Poet Laureate Julia Bouwsma’s poetry collection, Midden (Fordham University Press, 2018). “The Plow” — a poem from her chapbook-in-progress, Working Maine, was selected to be read on Maine Public Radio.

She is also a Humor Contributor for Brooklyn-based The Daily Drunk.

Her long-form projects include literary horror novels Corvidae and One Hot Minute.
