Candi Joneth (she/hers) writes from the cold coast of Maine. She has published over 200 news articles and over 75 features for several newspapers. Her journalistic work spans both hard and soft news, with an emphasis on culture and human-interest stories: narrative news, profiles, A&E, science, sports, technology, lifestyle, travel & leisure and photojournalism. She placed third in the Maine Press Association’s 2025 Critic’s Award. Through syndication, her articles have reached international audiences.

She is a Humor Contributor for Brooklyn-based The Daily Drunk.

She is a master’s candidate in Creative Writing and Literature at Harvard’s Extension School, where she is at work on her second novel, One Hot Minute, for her capstone, and she is seeking representation for her literary horror novel, Corvidae.
